Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins 320

about

Hawaiian Spinner Dolphin pod, recorded off the Kona coast of the Big Island in June 2009. You can hear their sonar clicks which they make upon approach, using echolocation to describe/differentiate me and my video recording rig from the rest of their environment - the hydrophone on the outside of the rig picks up their whistles, clicks, quacks, as well as my breathing as I snorkel and freedive in the ocean.
